Time and tide and art materials wait for no man!

The folk's and I went out to celebrate my Mum's birthday today and we happened to pop into a couple of places that sell art materials. I was very pleased to see some sales on so I was able to get some acrylic and watercolour paints and paper for a fairly reasonable price - but OH how expensive they can be! I have so many projects on the go that I have to plan ahead and buy the materials I'll need, two projects down the line, at the very least. I have worked through some projects already this year and we're not even half-way through January yet! So I need to make sure that I have got the materials that I'll be using in the next couple of months.

I can't get over how time has flown by lately! We're talking warp speed here! There never seems to be enough time in the day to get everything done. I feel like things are getting away from me and yet I know that I have achieved a LOT in a short space of time. I do wish that sometimes there would be the odd eddy in the river of time, so that I could pause for a bit and just - well - breath I think! :o) I'm not complaining at all, seriously. I want to do art and I'm doing just that and I love what I'm doing. Let's just say that at the same time that I am drawing flowers, I would love to stop and smell them too! With getting this site up and running I also feel like I'm being pulled in different directions at once. It's kind of a chicken and egg scenario. Art work or web site - both are important to my future, although both are taking up a lot of my time. Now where are Mum's birthday flowers? And - INHALE! :o)
